Certification does not automatically pay for itself. A business can evaluate an improvement by defining the expected benefit, the cost and a measurement method that distinguishes the action from other changes.

Questions to follow in an audit

  • What baseline supports the proposed benefit?
  • How are implementation and continuing costs recorded?
  • Who reviews whether the evidence supports the claimed result?

Connect the records with practice

Compare an improvement proposal with its baseline, costs, subsequent performance and management's decision about whether to continue or adjust it.

These are illustrative audit trails, not findings about a named organisation, technical instructions or a guarantee of a particular result. The appropriate evidence depends on the activities, risks and agreed scope. The organisation remains responsible for its operations and legal obligations.

AAA provides independent certification audits. Confirm the applicable standard edition, scope and customer requirements before agreeing a programme. Request an indicative price or discuss your proposed audit.
