An improvement claim should explain the risk being addressed and the evidence that the action works. An audit can investigate those links without promising that a business is shielded from every attack.
Questions to follow in an audit
- What risk or weakness led to the proposed action?
- How was responsibility and a completion criterion agreed?
- What evidence supports the assessment of effectiveness?
Connect the records with practice
Compare a recorded weakness, the approved action, completion evidence and a later review of whether the intended change occurred.
These are illustrative audit trails, not findings about a named organisation, technical instructions or a guarantee of a particular result. The appropriate evidence depends on the activities, risks and agreed scope. The organisation remains responsible for its operations and legal obligations.
AAA provides independent certification audits. Confirm the applicable standard edition, scope and customer requirements before agreeing a programme. Request an indicative price or discuss your proposed audit.
