Manufacturing audit evidence should connect assessed risks with the work people actually carry out. Unsupported accident-reduction percentages and anonymous success stories do not demonstrate that a particular site's arrangements are effective.
Questions to follow in an audit
- How are important task risks and responsibilities identified?
- How are competence and changes to equipment reviewed?
- What evidence shows that worker concerns lead to action?
Connect the records with practice
Sample an activity through its assessment, worker explanation, operating records and review of a reported weakness.
These are illustrative audit trails, not findings about a named organisation, technical instructions or a guarantee of a particular result. The appropriate evidence depends on the activities, risks and agreed scope. The organisation remains responsible for its operations and legal obligations.
AAA provides independent certification audits. Confirm the applicable standard edition, scope and customer requirements before agreeing a programme. Request an indicative price or discuss your proposed audit.
