Rework and complaints can consume time and resources, but a claimed saving needs evidence. Certification itself does not establish a financial return or explain why a particular business result changed.
Questions to follow in an audit
- Which costs are included in the quality measure?
- How are rework and complaint records linked to those costs?
- Who checks whether an improvement remains effective?
Connect the records with practice
Compare a recorded problem, the action taken, the measurement method and subsequent results, including other changes that may affect the comparison.
These are illustrative audit trails, not findings about a named organisation, technical instructions or a guarantee of a particular result. The appropriate evidence depends on the activities, risks and agreed scope. The organisation remains responsible for its operations and legal obligations.
AAA provides independent certification audits. Confirm the applicable standard edition, scope and customer requirements before agreeing a programme. Request an indicative price or discuss your proposed audit.
