ASCB-accredited certification

ISO 9001 certification

A quality management system helps organisations deliver consistent products and services, control processes and improve customer satisfaction. AAA provides an impartial, predominantly remote certification journey with clear audit planning and communication.

What the audit evaluates

Leadership and context

How your system reflects organisational direction, interested parties and responsibilities.

Operational control

How requirements are understood, work is controlled and performance is monitored.

Improvement

How you address nonconformity, use evidence and continually improve effectiveness.

Certification, not consultancy. We explain the audit and certification process, but do not design or implement the management system we certify.

How the certification journey works

We agree the activities, locations and products or services to be covered before setting an audit programme. The scope and audit duration should reflect how your organisation actually operates.

1. Application and planning

Tell us about your activities, people and sites to see an initial fee based on your answers. We then review the declared scope and plan the audit programme.

2. Stage 1 and Stage 2

Stage 1 checks readiness and the structure of your quality management system. Stage 2 tests how your arrangements work in practice through interviews, records and sampled activities.

3. Review and decision

Findings are recorded clearly. After any required response, technical review and an independent certification decision take place before a certificate is issued.

Our audits are predominantly remote where the scope and risks allow. We explain any need for site activity when planning the programme.

What should you have ready?

There is no single set of documents that suits every business. During the audit, we look for evidence that your quality system is defined, used and reviewed. Depending on your activities, that may include:

Customer and process controls

How you confirm requirements, plan work, manage changes and check that products or services meet those requirements.

People and suppliers

How competence is established and how externally provided processes, products or services are controlled.

Performance and improvement

Objectives, monitoring, customer feedback, internal audits, management review and action when things go wrong.

We sample evidence against the agreed scope and explain findings in plain language. AAA assesses your system independently; we do not implement it for you.

Choosing a useful certification scope

Your scope should describe the products or services and activities the quality management system actually covers. Tell us about design, sales, delivery, outsourced work and each location that affects the service. An accurate scope helps us plan the right audit time and avoids a certificate that is too narrow for customers to understand.

What this means in an audit. An auditor may follow a sample from customer enquiry through delivery, checking how requirements, changes, supplier inputs, feedback and corrective action are handled in practice.

Build the right audit programme

The initial fee reflects your declared people, sites, activities and standards. Annual surveillance is priced separately. If physical site work is needed, we discuss and agree its scope with you first; an onsite audit day is £400 + VAT.
